MarineTT has been created with the aim to unlock and make more accessible the vast amounts of potentially valuable knowledge which has been generated by FP6 and FP7 funded marine research projects. The system is managed by the consortium AquaTT and EurOcean. Under MarineTT, the Marine Knowledge Gate and MarineTT “clustering” tool are present as instruments to search for marine related projects. The Marine Knowledge Gate is a tool which provides an inventory of European funded Marine Science and Technology Projects and their Knowledge Outputs. The MarineTT “clustering” tool provides a dynamic visual representation of marine research projects surveyed during MarineTT. The tool groups projects by related research areas, with similar objectives or comparable outputs.
