SecurAqua aims to promote exchanges between research and development, training, innovation, production and public administrative institutions in order to raise the common opportunities and challenges of the Sicilian Region and Tunisia in terms of technology to improve Quality and safety of aquaculture products (AP). The development of this integrated strategy, which enhances the image of healthy, high-quality PAs, will enable the sector to gain greater visibility in Tunisia / Sicily, in the Mediterranean area and more widely on an international scale. The collaboration also aims to disseminate results and innovations to promoters in aquaculture and AP processing industries in order to integrate the scientific world with the productive system. Moreover, thanks to the innovations proposed, economic players will be able to improve their production performance and become more competitive in local, national and international markets.
