The SIC project aims to improve the competitiveness of the transport system Italy Corsica through the promotion of intermodal and security port systems . Specifically, the SIC project aims to improve the programming of Corsica Tuscany links and related services , thanks to the development of systematic data by a computer system connected to the network in innovative cross-border area and improving safety transportation of passengers and the prevention of accidents in the border port areas involved in the project . The objectives set out above will be achieved through the monitoring of the use of multimodal transport (bus / train / car / boat) entry into passenger / output port areas Tuscany - Corsica and monitoring passenger flows in / out vessels to improve security systems both ashore and on board, always thanks to the implementation of the IT system.
