The rationale behind MEDIWAT project consists in identifying and developing innovative and integrated solutions or tools (technical, operational and administrative) for managing Environmentalonmental issues related to water shortage and quality problems afflicting Med islands. Once assessed at local/regional level, such tools will be used by local Authorities for defining effective regulatory instruments (strategic master plans) for their implementations by domestic stakeholders.
